Breast Health

The Saline Memorial Breast Imaging Center is a state-of- the art facility dedicated to comprehensive imaging services. We offer the highest level of digital mammography technology to detect breast cancer as early as possible. Benefits include clearer images, a 40-50% reduction in radiation exposure, faster results and – in some cases – more accurate diagnosis in the earliest stages.

The American Cancer Society recommends these screening guidelines for most adults:
• Yearly mammograms starting at age 40 and continuing for as long as a woman is in good health
• Clinical breast exam about every 3 years for women in their 20s and 30s, and every year for women 40 and over
• Women should know how their breasts normally look and feel, and report any breast changes promptly to their health care provider
• Breast self-exam is an option for women starting in their 20s
